Dear Gram!

My “greetings” came today, Gram! I am so excited I can’t see straight! I have to get my passport photo and go to the Federal Bldg. and make application for my passport. So-I guess it won’t be long now Fran! I do hope we will get there for Christmas I am just writing this short note because I won’t be able to write to you next week as I am going to start my “shots”, have the passport picture taken, get a permanent and go to the Fed. Bldg to see about the passport. I wanted to let you know right away and I will write a letter later on after I get my breath: I have shopping to do and will leave to start packing- Boys, I’ll need a vacation!

Well, Fran, if you can, please write. I received your letter of the 4^th and will answer it soon.
