Friday eve.

My dear Fran: -

Honey I guess you was just as happy to talk with me as I was to talk to you. It certainly made me feel good and I wish I could call you every night but that would be rather expensive. I hope the call didn't cost too much but regardless of what it cost it was certainly worth it. Maybe I'm making a big mistake but I'm going to look for you in October so please do your utmost to try and make it. Joe called his wife again tonight and told her you'd probably come down and if you did you'd go to her place Weds. evening and stay all night so both of you could get an early start Thurs. I don't know how long she plans to stay, probably only the week end but you can stay as long as she does and go back with her. Joe is very nice so I imagine she is also they have five children she is only 26 and he's 29. Don't get alarmed she's not bringing the children and that probably why she won't stay long as her in-laws will take care of them. Honey you don't realize how much I want you down here even if it is only a week end. Honey please don't quit your job just to come down here for the week end because it really isn't worth it although we want to see each other. By the way you'd better not be tied up, get me, when you come down to see your honey because he's way behind in his home work and he'd like very much to catch up. I hope you feel the same way about the matter. Well dear today was considerably harder than the fore part of the week. This morning we spent all four hours on the B.A.R. This afternoon we had about one and half hours to ourselves to clean our equipment after which time we drilled one hour for that Retreat Parade, then we had the works put to us, we had a five mile hike the five wasn't too bad but (?) that boiling hot sun beating down on you but no one fell out but I can say my [edited for content] was dragging. Tomorrow is guard mount so I won't do a [edited for content] thing tomorrow or Sunday, guard starts at 6 P.M. Sat. and ends 6 P.M. Sunday I also am table waiter tomorrow but I'll get relief on that since I have to stand guard. I wish I had that film so I could take my picture when I'm dressed for guard duty, maybe I can get one later on. I guess Bob is enjoying himself about this time since he's with Mary (lucky fellow). Well honey I think I'll close and turn in for the night so don't ever forget Your honey loves you and always will so be a good girl. I'm going to look for you so try not to disappoint me. Tell your folks I said hello also my friends. Did you go to the party at the B.T.O.?
