My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dolly. Gee darling I received the sweetest letter from you just a few minutes ago and I was so darn thrilled to get it darling. It has been four or five days since I had a letter dear and gee is seemed like that many months. It was so darn sweet and precious darling just like all your wonderful letters are. I also received two from the folks dear. Yours was the twenty-third of March dear so that is pretty good time. Gee Honey your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful awful happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gee but I was happy to get that precious letter dearest, it had been so many days since any mail had come in. Honey you had received two letters from me the day you wrote that and they had come in real good time to and I was sure glad to hear that dearest. Sure hope you are getting my mail all right now dear. Honey you are so awful darn sweet and I love you so darn much.
I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dearest. Well Honey it is a real nice day here today. The sun isn’t out so it isn’t so awful hot. Boy these past few days have sure been awful it was so darn hot. You should be getting some warm weather now dear and it won’t be long before it will be real be real hot there too. Remember how you used to do last summer when it was so awful hot dear when you would get home from work and go up to your room and read my letters. Honey I’ll bet you’ll be that way in a very short time after we are together too. We’ll both be that way darling and most of the time we are in our room we will be that way darling, just like the two bees Honey. Gee but we will be happy dearest and every thing will be so darn wonderful.
Honey dear you said you didn’t think you baked the cake in that last package I received. Well darling it was really good but I know my little Honeys will be more wonderful than ever. I sure do hope I get yours now dearest and I know it will really be swell. It ought to come in real good shape in one of those cans dearest. I sure do hope I get my cookies too dearest. Gee darling you are so darn sweet to bake me all those swell things and send me all the nice things you do. You are such a perfect little wife dearest and so wonderful to me in every way. Honey dear it will be so darn wonderful when we are back in each others’ arms and can get each other things like we want to. I haven’t been able to get you anything for so darn long Honey but when I get back in your precious arms I will do my best to make up for all this lost time dearest.
Honey here is another money order for you to do whatever you want to with. If you need or want anything in any way I want you to get it darling. Honey you know your husband wants you to have anything you want. If you don’t need it then you can put it in the bank toward our little Home dearest. Gosh darling won’t it be wonderful when we get our little home all built and paid for. We are going to have a real good start when this thing is all over dear and all we save now is that much closer to the time when our home will be ours and we won’t owe anyone anything.
Sure hope this finds you feeling swell and everything going along all right in everyway at home dear. Please be awful, awful careful now dearest and please don’t work too hard now. Honey I am pure glad you ride with Elsee now, that is better than riding the bus. Sure hope everything is going along all right at work now dearest. Is the love affair still going on at the office dear or has it broken up. She will get everything she can out of him and then she [will] drop him for some one else. I sure don’t see what two people do things like that for. Mother was telling me about one of Dad’s niece’s. She has been married a long time now and has a boy that is married and she meet up with some guy where she works and he got her a lot of clothes and money too I suppose and she is supposed to be leaving her husband now. I think you saw her dear and she was the one that lived over there by Courtney’s. She always was pretty wild and always drank and smoke. She sure had a good husband and he was sure a hard worker and tried to do right. Boy this war or something has sure made fools out of a lot of people. When things are all settled again they will all be sorry and never will live a happy life. Gee darling we are so happily married and love each other more every day. Our love is real time love dear and straight from the heart. There never was or never will be a happier married couple than us dearest. Honey you are such a perfect little wife, so darn sweet and precious and I love you so darn much darling.
Yes darling the Pickwick, eleventh or twelfth floor and with radio and bath. If we can’t get the radio then you can take yours darling, we got to have music. Honey I know I will like your beautiful gown and I am so awful glad you have it and your slippers to match dear. Gee darling I will be able to have you so close to me and Honey real thin like that oh gee. Remember now dearest just the one thing or rather two with the slippers. I’ll bet it won’t be very long though Honey, how about it dear. Honey I want you to be sure and mention anything you think about and I will do the same. We will be right there handy to everything so if we think of something we want after we get together it won’t take us but a minute to run out and get it. I sure hope you can get that item over town dear. I think you will be able to get it all right by that firm telling you where to go. That will make us three if you get two this time dear and that way you can change. They are sure going to get a lot of use Honey. Gee but it will be wonderful dearest, as often and as long as we want to and that’s going to be all the time dearest. Gee but we will be happy dearest and it will all be so heavenly.
You are so darn sweet dearest and I love you so awful darn much and you know I always will darling. You are so darn sweet and precious dearest. Honey I am going to hold you so awful awful tight and darling our kisses will be the longest we ever had. Gee darling right together all the time and not having to leave each other for a minute. I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible dearest. Please take wonderful care of my precious parts Honey. They are so awful awful wonderful dearest and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine dolly miss you so awful darn much. You are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world dearest and I love you so awful darn much and you know I always will sweetheart.
Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dearest. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dolly.
