My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Well sug no mail so far today but I am sure hoping some comes in before the day is over. The mail service has sure been poor this last week or so and I sure hope it gets better now. Gee darling your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gosh Honey when I open your precious letters it is just like you used to open the door for me and we would be in each others arms, gee darling the grandest feeling. Our letters mean so awful darn much to us dearest. Honey dear I sure hope you are getting my mail all right now. You are so darn sweet dearest and I love you so awful darn much.

Well darling I am feeling fine now and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now. Well Honey it has been a pretty nice day here so far but awful hot. Boy this past week or so we have sure had the hot weather. Sure hope you are having some nice weather now dear. Well Honey I worked last nite till three this morning. Didn’t get up until about a quarter after eleven today. When I work till three like that I am usually up around nine thirty or ten but I sure did sleep this morning. It was so darn hot and I was perspiring so much when I woke up that it looked like some one had poured water in bed with me. Gosh Honey won’t it be heavenly when we don’t have to get up in the morning and can sleep as long as we want to and if we wake up and don’t want to get up we can just lay there in each others arms and talk to each other. Gee darling we will be so darn happy and everything will be so wonderful.

Well Honey you said you paid your income tax and I am sure glad you got that over with dear. You won’t have that to worry with for a year now. Boy everything is sure taxed high now but I guess that is the only way to get this thing paid for. Maybe after it is all over that they will cut the taxes down on a lot of things. Gee but I hope by this time next year that this is all over dearest. They are sure getting close to the Japanese homeland now and I sure hope things can keep going. I sure don’t see how Germany can hold out very much longer and boy it is sure going to be hard on Japan then cause everything will be concentrated on her. Both of those countries really know what they started now and they both just the same as admit they are doomed. Gosh Honey it will be one of the happiest days in our life when this thing is all over and we can really start our life together.

That was sure something the way Bobbie was asking you if you wasn’t awful glad to get my letters or ain’t you glad Yomo. He is sure some boy. I guess they always will call you that dear. Ruth and Thad sure do have a nice family and sure have something to be proud of. I sure will be glad to see all the folks again honey but I don’t suppose the little ones will remember me. I never will forget the way Bobbie used to wait for me when he knew I was coming down. I’ll bet they have sure grown since I left. Gosh Honey I’ll bet there will be grown people that I won’t recognize when I get home. Three years is a long time and there will probably be a lot of guys and people that I will recognize and won’t be able to remember there name. Gee but it will be wonderful to get back in your precious arms dear and really be together at home for the first time since we became man and wife. We will be able to spend every minute of our time together now and not have to leave each other for a minute. Gee but it will be heavenly dearest and we will be so awful, awful darn happy.

Boy Honey I sure do remember that nite in Texas and there sure was more than a bath going on to. We had such a wonderful time there dear and it won’t be anything in comparison to what our meeting it going to be dearest. We will never let each other out of our sight dearest and we will be right together all the time. I’ll say your purse used to catch a lot of things dear. Honey when we get back together now and go out for a drive and have in mind what we are going to do you won’t need any purse cause you won’t have anything to put in it I’ll bet, how about it dearest. Gosh Honey it will all be so heavenly now. We can go wherever we want to and do whatever we want to in any way and darling this little couple is sure always going to be dressed comfy when we can. How about our first week at our room dear, what did you say Honey. Gee darling I am sure glad we chose the Pickwick cause we will be together that much quicker and we will really know where we want to go if we go out for a meal or something and we won’t be gone so long that way. Boy Honey I’ll bet after I get to the states and call you that each minute will seem like an hour to us and as our meeting gets closer I’ll bet those last few hours will be some of the slowest ones in our life. Then honey our time will really come and you will open the door and I’ll be right there in your precious arms. Gosh Honey I’ll have you so close to me and then in a few minutes we will be awful, awful close together, right Honey. Darling as soon as possible now.

Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so darn much and dearest you know I always will. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way dear. Gosh Honey we are so happily married and love each other more every day. It is so awful wonderful to really belong to each other dear and to know that as soon as we get back together we will be right together from the first minute on. Honey dear you are such a perfect little wife and so awful pretty from the tips of my beautiful blonde hair to the tips of my sweet little toes. Please take wonderful care of my precious parts Honey, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine dolly, miss you so awful darn much. You are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world dearest and I love you so awful darn much.

Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dearest. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dolly. Please be awful, awful careful now dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife. Remember now dolly chin up and always happy. Tell all hello now dearest.
