My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Gee darling I received the sweetest letter from you today and gee I was so darn thrilled to get it dearest. It was so awful sweet and precious darling, just like all your wonderful letters are. Honey dear your precious letters mean so awful, awful darn much to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gee darling your precious letters give me the grandest feeling all over. Won’t it be heavenly when we are back in each others arms and won’t have to write letters any more dearest. Sure hope you are getting my letters all right now dearest. Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful darn much.
I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dearest. Well Honey it has been a pretty nice day here, plenty hot though. There is a good breeze blowing now and it is pretty nice. It seems like there is always a breeze here or just about always and it is usually pretty strong too. Sure hope you are having some nice weather now darling. Well Honey on the day shift this week. Just got our tractor fixed this morning and got it back on the job.
Gee darling I got the sweetest picture of my little Honey in my letter today. Gee but I was happy to get it darling and Honey you look so wonderful just like my precious little dolly always does. Gee but what I wouldn’t of give if I could have been there standing by you dearest. You looks so wonderful Honey and darling I would sure been helping you keep warm if I was there with you. You look so cozy and warm Honey, but I’ll bet you would have been a lot warmer if I had been there dearest. Honey I received the picture of the house to and I sure do like it Honey. It sure is cute and is really a nice looking place dear. Now I can tell about where my little Honey lives and the way the house looks and all that. Gosh Honey I am so darn glad you got away from that other place and got such a nice little place. It has been so warm and nice for you this winter dear and just a lot better in every way for you. Honey has Pop ever said anything about what he plans to do when I get back and you are with me all the time and then when I get out of this thing and we can start housekeeping. He sure is going to miss you Honey ‘cause you have sure been swell keeping house and taking care of the house dearest. He has sure been swell to us darling to have a nice home for my sweet little Honey. The last words I said to him when I left was, take wonderful care of Naomi for me cause she means everything to me, and Honey he has to. I was just wondering if he ever said anything about what he planned to do. Darling I was sure happy to get your sweet picture and the one of the house too. Gosh darling your precious pictures mean so awful darn much to me and make me feel so wonderful all over. Just seems like I can almost talk to you dearest and Honey it won’t be long until I will have you in my sweet arms and talking to you every minute of the day and night. Gee but I hope you can take me some pictures on Easter dearest. Just got to see my baby doll in her new Easter outfit. If it isn’t nice so you can take them on Easter please take me some as soon as possible darling. Honey dear you are so awful sweet and gee I love you so darn much.
Isn’t that something about Aunt Maudie’s girl Honey. Boy if I was a woman that low I think I would go someplace and hide. This is her second marriage too. I think she had a good husband the last time but she just raised so much hell with him he couldn’t take it. He sure did seem awfully in love with her dear and I guess they had a nice store down town there and was getting along swell before he went away. He sure seemed like a nice fellow to, what little I was around him. She wouldn’t make dirt under a person’s feet dear. I sure do feel sorry for the fellows Honey, but in time the fellow will get over it and find a real wife and then she will be the sorry one. You said there was girls at the office doing it to dear and think it’s smart. I just can’t see whats wrong with people. A fellow goes off to help make the world safe for his wife and family and him to live in, he goes through everything, does without every thing and risking his life all the time and then gets a letter asking for a divorce. Boy Honey I don’t think there is anything lower that a person could do than that. A lot of them just get the idea they can’t do without it but darling just like you said if two people really love each other they will stick by each other no matter what and things like that doesn’t bother them at all. Almost three years we have done with out it darling and e are so lonesome and it hurts so awful much but we sure don’t let it bother us dear cause we really love each other. While we are apart our writing about it in our own little secret way to each other, takes the place of the real thing Honey. It makes me feel so wonderful when write me about the parts Honey and how we will be doing when we get together and when my sweet little tummy is hurting and all the things like that, it just makes me feel so swell dearest and Honey I know it does you too and when you go to bed at night I know it makes you feel so wonderful to think about something I have said about them in my letters dear, just like the things in your letters does to me. When we get back in each others arms we will have it in the wonderful way and the real thing itself and not just thinking about it dearest and gee but it will be so heavenly and we will be so happy darling. Honey that is real true love and straight from the heart and that’s the way our love will always be dearest.
Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will angel. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way dearest. Honey we are so happily married and love each other more every day. I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. Please take wonderful care of my precious parts dear. Gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine dolly miss you so darn much. You are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in the world dolly and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dearest.
