My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dolly. Gee darling I received four of the sweetest letters yesterday evening after I had already written you. I was so darn thrilled to get them dolly and they were so darn sweet and precious, just like all your wonderful letters are dolly. I also got four from the folks and one from the Lutheran Service Center. Yours was the sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth dearest so that was good time. Gosh Honey your precious letters mean so awful, awful darn much to me and they are so sweet. They make me so happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gee but I was happy to get those precious letters yesterday Honey, it had been three or four days since I got any mail and I just hoped all day yesterday that I would hear from my sweet little wife before the day was over and gee what precious letters they were dearest. Honey you had been getting my mail real good too and I sure hope you still are dearest. Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful darn much.

I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of every thing now. Well it is a pretty nice day here honey, awful hot today though. It rained quite a bit last night. Sure hope you are having some nice weather now dearest. Well I worked last night dearest and slept until about ten-thirty this morning. It is pretty good sleeping here in the mornings, that is most of the time cause there is usually always a good breeze. Then I got up and got my hair cut, took a shower, had dinner and now writing to my little doll baby. Gosh Honey won’t it be wonderful when we can spend every night in each others’ arms and go to bed when we please and get up when we please. We will be so awful darn happy and every thing will be so wonderful dearest.

Gosh Honey one of my letters last night had a precious lock of my beautiful hair and gee darling I was so happy to get it. It made me feel so darn wonderful to know that just a few days ago it was with you darling. Gosh Honey you have such beautiful hair, just like every precious bit of my Darling. You always took such wonderful care of my beautiful hair Honey and it always looked perfect. Honey when I get back in your sweet arms I will help you fix your hair every night and if there isn’t any thing I can do to help I’ll be right there watching you darling, how about it Honey. Darling remember the night just a few days before I left when we went out by Ragans and I got a lock of your hair and you got some of mine and yes darling the other too. It was just starting back in good when you was down in Texas remember dear. Gee but it is so wonderful dearest and it won’t be long until I will be running my hand through there again dearest. Honey I was just looking at the lock of hair and the other that I got before I left and darling the two locks of hair are exactly the same color and gee it is beautiful. Sometimes the hair changed a little in seasons or something like that but darling these are just exactly alike. Gee but I am proud of my beautiful hair dearest just like I am of my sweet little angel all over. Boy a person sure does have a time with their hair over here. You have to wash it almost every day on account of the dust and dirt and this water has so many chemicals in it and is so darn hard that your hair feels real stiff when you finish washing it. And then this heat and sun all the time and really hard on the hair too. I really try to take good care of mine but it still comes out. Sometimes it is worse than others. I sure will be glad when I am back in your sweet arms and can wash it in good hot water and really be able to take care of it like I should. You will help me too won’t you dearest. Gosh Honey I am so happy that you sent me a lock of my beautiful and gee it makes me feel so wonderful all over. Honey how about sending me some like we got out by Ragans that night, you know darling that I was talking about on the other page.

Darling you wanted to know how I would like to have a robe. Honey I think it would be swell cause like you said dearest there will be a lot of times I will just be resting when I get home and then it will sure come in handy when we are in out room over town dearest. Yes darling like when they bring out meals to us and things like that we will have our robes to slip on and over just what you said dearest. That’s the way we will be all the time we are in our room right honey and darling when we get our home and are sitting around resting at night we will be dressed like that a lot too, gee won’t it be heavenly dearest. Honey you asked me about what size I thought it would be. Well I don’t know dearest cause I don’t know how much I weigh now cause I have lost quite a bit since the last time I weighed, that was way back in Fiji. I wear a fifteen thirty thirteen shirt though darling and I imagine I weigh around one fifty or sixty now so you can get a good idea I believe. Gosh Honey isn’t it wonderful the way we have every thing planned for our meeting. That is going to be one of the most wonderful weeks we ever spend dearest, right together every minute of our time and not bothered by any one for a whole week or so. Gee darling I think about it all day and dream about it, all night and gee bet it is all so heavenly. Honey I want you to be sure and mention anything to me you think about and I’ll do the same dolly. Gee darling you are going to be dressed so perfect, gosh but I am glad you have your ____ all like you have dearest.

Honey dear you are so darn sweet and so precious in every way dolly. Honey dear we are so happily married and love each other more every day. Darling one of my letters last night had the sweetest kiss on it and gee but it is so wonderful to see my beautiful little lip prints dearest. It won’t be long until we will have our lips pressed together in person and be holding each other so tight dearest. Honey I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. Please take wonderful care of my precious parts dearest, gee but they are so wonderful and I love them so darn much. You are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world dolly and I love you so awful darn much and dearest you know I always will.

Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dearest. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dearest. Please be awful, awful careful now dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife now. Remember now dolly chin up and always happy. Tell all hello dearest.
