My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Honey dear I got the sweetest letter today and gee but I was thrilled to get it. It was so darn sweet and precious dear, just like all your wonderful letters are. It was February the twelfth dear so that was darn good. Gee darling your wonderful letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gosh Honey it gives me the grandest feeling when I can get your precious letters. Sure hope you are getting my mail all right now dearest. Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful much.
I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now darling. Well Honey it has been a real nice day here but awful hot. Gee but it gets hot dear. It is sure a relief not to be having so awful much rain like we did at the last place. Sure hope you are having some nice weather now dear and not to cold. Well honey I worked the regular day shift today, sure a lot of hours to put in this climate. Gosh Honey it will be so darn wonderful when I am back in your sweet arms and back to a wonderful climate.
Darling you was telling me you got a gardenia plant. Sure hope it does good now dear and you can really get some pretty flowers. You said you also got two small flower pots to grow vines in. Gosh Honey it is so darn swell where you can have plants like that and not have to worry about them freezing. You sure couldn’t have anything like that at the other place dear. You said you got a new fish bowl to dear cause the one you had wasn’t big enough for your fish. Gosh Honey I will be so glad when I can see your new place and darling I know you have got it fixed up so cute. Gee but it will be heavenly when we can have out little home dear and have things fixed up like we want them. We will be so awful darn happy dearest and everything will be so heavenly.
Honey you was telling me you heard over the radio how they were handling men when they come back from over seas. Boy I sure hope that is the way it is when I get there darling. Sure hope that fellow gets a chance to call you while he is in Kansas City Honey and then you can kind of see how he was processed to. I believe he is on furlough though so he might be a little different than rotation, but I don’t think there is much difference in the way they get you home. Boy Honey I will sure send you a telegram as soon as I can and call you as soon as I can to. I sure hope that is possible for me to do as soon as I hit there dear. Sure honey if I get the chance to call you from California I can tell you just how everything is and if I am going to be in California very long you can come right on out and if I am coming right on to Leaveneworth then you can get our room and we will be all set, gosh darling won’t it be heavenly. You said the radio said after three days they send you right on to your induction center. I guess it takes them that long for examinations and getting clothes and getting records straightened up and such as that. No sir Honey we don’t want any one to know our plans like you said dear when I call you that will be a secret between you and me to. We will meet in our room Honey like we have always planned and then in three or four days we can go out and see the folks and then right back to our room. We are going to spend the most of our time to ourselves dearest, cause gosh Honey we have been away from each other so darn long we just got to be to ourselves. Your darn right we will hold each other awful, awful tight and kiss each other so often dear and I surely know what else to darling. Gosh yes it will be big Honey and mine will be awful, awful warm to, won’t it darling. Gee darling doesn’t the thoughts give you an awful wonderful feeling, gosh but it sure does me dearest. Honey I’ll bet there won’t be no eating, sleeping or anything for several hours, we won’t have time for that, right dearest. Isn’t it wonderful the way we have planner our meeting Honey and gee it means so awful, awful much to us Honey and we are sure going to carry our plans out to. Gee darling it is so heavenly and makes me feel so awful wonderful when you write me about our meeting and what we will do and how you are going to dress for me and all that. Always write me about it dear and honey when ever you think of some else we might do or can plan on be sure and write me and I’ll do the same darling. Our day is coming Honey and boy what I mean that is going to be the start of a real celebrating for us Honey and in our own way. I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible dearest.
Honey dear you was telling me in one of your last letters just what a brunch cost was. I never did know exactly but I do now dear. Gosh honey I’ll bet they are sure comfortable and like you say easy to get into. You said you didn’t use them now cause you didn’t use them now cause you went right from your pajamas to your slip and what else, did you say Honey. You had better tell me darling. Honey could I help with the rest. Darling you will be able to wear them this summer probably when you first get up or around the house. Boy Honey I’ll say you will have time to wear them and house coats when I get home, just that to darling, right Honey. That will be real comfy dear and real easy to well Honey you know. I’ll say we are going to dress comfortable, yes, yes darling. Honey wont it be wonderful together all the time sleeping in each others arms all nite, so close together. I’ll say for bed nothing dear, will keep each other so warm and be so cozy. Gosh Honey I know that there isn’t another couple in the world that love each other like we do and like exactly the same things and all like we do. We were really meant for each other dearest and darling it is so darn heavenly that we do really belong to each other.
Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much and you know I always will sweetheart. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way dolly. Gosh Honey you are such a perfect little wife and gee darling all mine. You are so darn pretty honey, so sweet, so precious, just the most adorable little wife in this world. Honey we will hold each other so darn tight and kiss each other so often, will never let go of each other dear. Honey please take wonderful care of my precious parts, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine dolly miss you so awful, awful darn much but dolly they will be back together before long and gee but it will be heavenly dearest. Honey dear you are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world and I love you so awful, awful darn much and dearest you know I always will.
Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dolly. I’ll look for your precious letters now dearest. Honey dear please be awful, awful careful now and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife. Remember now dearest, chin up and always happy. Tell all hello dear.
