My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be darling. Well Honey no letters for several days now and I know you have had the same dear cause I haven’t been able to write you for about five days now. I sure do hope it isn’t so long before I get my mail again dear and I don’t believe it will be so long this time. Gosh honey your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dear and make me feel so darn wonderful all over. Gee darling it will be so darn swell when we are back in each others arms and won’t have to write letters any more. You are so darn sweet dearest and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dearest.
I am feeling fine now Honey and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dear. Well Honey as you have probably guess I have been on the move again. Not so very far this time. It is another place just like the Russells, coral and rain and coconut trees and all the other things that go with that from rats on up. Sure wish we could of hit a better place but I don’t think it will be so long until we will be off to somewhere else. I am sure tired and wore out really been working yesterday and today. I have been pushing out coconut trees and clearing the ground for our camp area. Sure is a lot of work and really hard work to. We have all our equipment working on it though so it ought not take so long to get it cleared out. Boy I sure hate these moves there is always about three or four weeks you are without lights and showers and things like that. We just get set up nice and we take off for someplace else. I thought maybe one more would be all I would have to make before I got home but I guess I will see another one before I get home. Gosh Honey it will be so darn wonderful when I am back in your sweet arms and can forget all about this.
Honey when you get this, let the folks know you heard from me. I don’t know when I will get to write them. It might be tomorrow and might be two or three days or more. I sure hope this goes out right away but I don’t know whether it will or not. Honey dear I will write as often as possible now but you know how things are until we get straightened out, just on the go all the time. Boy we have sure been working hard since we left the Admiralties. About four months now we haven’t had a day off been working that six on and twelve off. Boy it sure does get a guy. I guess the A.P.O. is going to be the same dear, haven’t heard anything about a knew one.
Sure hope this finds you feeling swell and everything going along all right in every way at home now. Sure hope you don’t catch any more of those awful colds now dear. Gosh Honey they have sure been awful on you this winter. Please be awful, awful careful now dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife. It will be so darn swell when we are back in each others arms and can look after each other dear.
Honey you are so darn sweet and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dearest. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way dolly. Gosh Honey we are so happily married and love each other more every day. Gee but it will be heavenly when we can hold each other so tight and kiss each other so often dearest. Honey I know God hears our prayers and will answer them and keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. Darling please take wonderful care of my precious parts, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine Honey miss you so awful darn much. You are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world dear and I love you so awful, awful much and you know I always will dear.
Well sug I guess I had better close and I’ll write you as soon as possible now. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dearest. Please be awful, awful careful now dear and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife. Remember now dearest, chin up and always happy. Tell all hello dear.
