My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Gee darling I got two of the sweetest letters today and I was so darn thrilled to get them Honey. I also got three letters from the folks and one from Thad and Anna Mae and a Christmas card from Earl Daderstadt. Sure was glad to hear from everyone. Gosh Honey your wonderful letters were so darn sweet and precious, just like all your heavenly letters are. They were January the twenty third and twenty seventh dear so that was darn good I thought. Honey dear you precious letters mean so awful, awful darn much to me and they are so sweet. They make me so darn happy darling and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gosh Honey it will be so darn wonderful when we are back in each others arms and won’t have to write letters any more. I sure hope you are getting my letters all right now dearest. Honey dear please don’t worry when you don’t hear from me for quite a while sometimes. You know I will always write you as often and as much as possible dearest. Honey you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much.
I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way. I have plenty of everything now darling. It is a real nice day here today Honey. The sun is out bright but it isn’t so awful hot. A real good breeze blowing and that sure does help out. Sure hope the weather isn’t bad at home now dear. Well Honey I worked from six till noon today and go back at midnite tonite. Boy that is sure a hard shift to put in.
Gosh Honey you have been sick again. I sure will be glad when this winter is over dear cause it sure has been a hard one on you. Gee darling I am so darn glad you stayed home and took it easy cause that is the only way you will get to feeling better. That’s the way I want you to do now darling, when ever you don’t feel well I want you to stay home and doctor up. You said it was all in your throat again to dear. That is sure awful darling and sure does make a person feel awful. You had that awful cough to dear. Gee but I wish I was there to take care of you darling. I’ll bet I would keep you right in the house and keep my little dolly doctored up until she got to feeling wonderful again, yes I would Honey. Won’t it be swell when we can look after each other dear and take care of each other all the time. Honey dear please be awful careful now and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife and I sure hope you are feeling swell by now dearest. I’ll bet you got your cold from waiting for that bus so darn long dearest. This darn thing will all be over one of these days dearest and then you won’t have to wait for buses and go through all the things you have to now. Gee darling it will all be so darn heavenly and we will be so happy.
Honey you was telling me you got your flower seeds the other day. Sure hope you can have some nice flowers and a nice yard this summer dear. Have you got a pretty large yard dear or is it rather small. I sure am anxious to see the new place dear. Honey you said you also got you some material or rather a pattern and was going to get the material to make you a new brunch coat. Do you wear them just like a house coat dear, what I mean is, in place of a house coat. Are they regular dress length dear. Guess you will have to show me all the new styles and changes when I get home dear, Honey you darn right I’ll help you sew. I am going to help you do everything dearest, right beside you all the time.
Honey you are so darn sweet and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dearest. You are so darn sweet and precious in every way dear. Gee darling we are so happily married and love each other more every day. Honey it will be so heavenly when we can hold each other so darn tight and kiss each other so often. Honey I will hold you in my arms and really tell you how wonderful and adorable you are. I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. Please take wonderful care of my precious parts. Honey, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so much. Yours are fine dearest, miss you so awful darn much. You are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world dear and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dolly.
Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dearest. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now darling.
