My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Gee darling I received four of the sweetest letters today and I was so darn thrilled to get them darling. They were so darn sweet and so precious in every way dearest, just like all your wonderful letters are. I also received one from the folks dear and one from Mae and Peg and two small packages from you darling. Your letters were the seventeenth, eighteenth, nineteenth, and twentieth of January dear so that was darn good. Gosh Honey your wonderful letters are so darn sweet and mean so awful darn much to me. They make me so darn happy dear and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gee darling it gives me the grandest feeling when I get your precious letters. I sure hope you are getting my letters all right now dearest. Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much.
I am feeling pretty good now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now darling. Well dearest it is still raining here, boy I never saw so much rain. Sure would like to see it stop for a little while now. Sure hope the weather isn’t bad at home dear. Boy Honey I still feel awful. My nose is so sore that I can hardly blow it anymore. I just feel awful all over and I sure hope I get to feeling better now. Sure don’t feel like doing anything. I worked from six this morning till noon today and go back to work at midnite tonite. I sure will be glad when I get that shift over with.
Honey dear I received two swell packages from you today and was so darn happy to get them darling. I had given up hope of getting any more of my Christmas packages and here was two waiting for me when I got in from work. They were both in pretty good shape dear. One had the two cans of cookies dear and the two boxes of heat powder. Boy the cookies really come in swell shape dear and were so nice in those cans. They sure do taste good to dear and everything sure does come in good shape in those cans. Then the other package had the nice little Christmas tree dear and the swell box of candy and the swell billfold dear and the nice bottle of hair oil and a swell Christmas card dearest. Gosh Honey it was all in such swell shape with the exception of the candy. It had been on the road so long that it was all pretty well melted but gee it was a swell looking box dear. And darling that was the cutest little Christmas tree, gee but it was pretty dear. And Honey that sure is a nice billfold and I sure do like it dear. I sure did need the hair oil too dear. Gee darling that is such a pretty Christmas card and I was so darn glad to get it dear, thought sure I was not going to get my Christmas card this year dear. That sure is a pretty verse to dear and so darn sweet where you wrote on the back darling. Gosh Honey everything was so darn swell and made me so awful happy. You are so darn wonderful to me dolly and always send me so many nice things dear. You are so awful, awful sweet dearest and so darn wonderful to me. I sure wish I could get the rest of my packages now dear. I guess I have three or four more coming yet dear but I don’t suppose I will get them.
Honey dear sure hope this finds you feeling swell and everything going along all right in every way at home now. Sure hope your work isn’t to heavy now darling. Please take it awful easy now dearest and please don’t work to hard now.
Darling you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dearest. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way dear. Gosh Honey we are so happily married and love each other more every day. It is so wonderful to think about the heavenly embraces we will have as soon as we get back in each others arms dear. I will hold you so awful tight dear and kiss you so often. I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. Please take wonderful care of my precious parts dearest, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine dolly, miss you so darn much. Honey you are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dearest.
Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dear. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now darling. Please be awful, awful careful now dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife. Remember now dolly chin up and always happy. Tell all hello dearest.
