My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Gee darling I got the sweetest letter from you today and I was so darn happy to get it dear. It was the first one you wrote me after you heard from me here dear. I also got two letters and two Christmas cards from the folks dear. Honey your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful darn happy and make me feel so wonderful all over dear. Gosh Honey it is such a grand feeling when I can hear from you. I sure hope you are getting my letters all right now dearest. Won’t it be wonderful when we are back in each others arms dearest and won’t have to write letters any more. You are so darn sweet darling and I love you so awful darn much.
I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now darling. Well honey a pretty nice day here, plenty hot and dusty but I would rather put up with that for a little while instead of all this mud and rain we have been having. Sure hope it is nice and not to cold at home now dearest. Well honey I worked the morning shift today.
Honey dear you said you was so happy when you got my letter that you cried. Gosh Honey I am sure glad it wasn’t any longer than three weeks and sure hope that you never have to go that long again. You said you called Thelma and Nina up and told them you had heard from me. Gosh honey you are so darn sweet. I know how awful you feel when you don’t hear from me dearest. When I can’t hear from you darling I just can’t do anything, it just seems like I am upset all over. I think about one more move will be about all I will make before I start back dear, at least I sure hope so. Of course that depends on a lot of things. According to how fast these old guys get to leave and how long we stay at our next place. Gee darling it will be such a heavenly day when I am back in your sweet arms and we can really start our life together.
Honey you was telling me about Jackie coming over the other day and he lost his shoe on the way and just came on over to your place and his foot was almost froze. Boy I’ll bet the little kids are sure glad you live so close dear. They will sure be a lot of company for you honey and you won’t have to be by yourselves at nite now. I’ll bet they are really some kids by now.
Sure hope this finds you feeling swell dearest and everything going along all right in every way at home now. Please be awful, awful careful now dearest and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife. Honey dear please don’t work to hard now. Sure hope your work isn’t to heavy now dearest.
Honey dear I hope you have been bowling lately. Maybe now that you are all moved dear that you will have a little time to yourself. Gosh Honey you sure did have a time, all that moving and Christmas and your work, just to darn much darling. It ought not to be long before you get your vacation Honey and you sure do need it dear.
Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dearest. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way dearest. Gee darling we are so happily married and love each other more every day. Honey dear you are such a wonderful little wife, gee but I am proud of you dear. Dolly I know that God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. Honey dear please take wonderful care of my precious parts, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine dear miss you so awful darn much. Honey dear you are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dearest.
