My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my wonderful little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Gee darling I received four of the sweetest letters from you today and I was so darn thrilled to get them Honey. I also got six from the folks dear. They were all November letters dearest. I knew I had some coming from November dear and I am so darn happy I got them dearest. Gee darling your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful darn happy dear and make me feel so wonderful all over dear. Gee darling won’t it be wonderful when we are back in each others arms and won’t have to write letters any more. I sure hope you are getting my letters all right now dearest. Honey you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much.
I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way not. I have plenty of everything dear. Well Honey it is raining here today and what I mean it is really raining and has been since yesterday evening. I sure do hate to see it rain over here. The rainy season should be over before long now. We won’t hate to see it rain when I get back though dear cause we will be right in each others arms and can be so cozy in our little home when it is bad outside. Sure hope the weather is nice at home dear and not to cold. Well Honey I worked from six till midnite last nite and then was supposed to go to work at noon today but it is raining so bad we can’t work. Boy I am sure glad we are getting a few hours off. A guy sure does get wore out working hours like we are.
Honey dear I was talking to our company clerk and he said he would fix up a card and send it to the war department and notify them about your change in address. I think it would be best dear cause then you will be sure and get your allotment and it will have your correct address on it. I won’t have him fix it up until I hear from you dear and see if you don’t think it would be the best. The company clerk is the one that takes care of everything like that dear and I think if he sends it in that it will keep right on coming and won’t be delayed any. Be sure and tell me what you think about it now dear.
Honey you was telling me in one of your letters today about you and Ruth going to the Tower. I’ll bet it did really bring back a lot of memories dear. We sure spent a many a wonderful hour there. I think we liked it because of that wonderful secluded spot we always had. Won’t it be heavenly to be able to sit through a show once again in each others arms and be able to steal a kiss every once in a while. We will be so darn happy dearest and have so much fun.
Darling you said your Christmas dress was black. I sure hope you got your whole outfit dear but you was so darn busy and then sick, that I know you didn’t have much time to look around. Bet your dress was sure pretty dear and gee but I would of liked to been there and seen my sweet little darling in it. I sure hope you was able to take me some pictures in your new Christmas outfit to dear. Gee darling your precious pictures make me so awful darn happy and make me feel so wonderful all over. Sure wish I could take you some now dear but no place to get the negatives made so there isn’t any use of taking the pictures cause you can’t send the film undeveloped. Gee darling won’t it be wonderful when we are back in each others arms and can go with each other to get our clothes. Remember dear when I get out of here the first thing we are going to do is go down and both get a complete new outfit and I am going to put everything we own together. Gee but marriage is a wonderful thing dearest and honey I know that there isn’t or never will be a happier married couple than us.
Dearest you told me all about your vase in one of my letters today. You had told me about getting it and all that in your later letters but you gave me the complete description today. Boy Honey I’ll bet that really is beautiful and I will be so glad when I can see it dear and all the other swell things you have. Darling that’s the way I want you to do, when ever you see anything you want I want you to get it dearest. Just like you said dearest everything you get like that now will be that much less we will have to get after we start housekeeping and have so much to put out for our home and things like that. Dearest you are darn right I understand how much you wanted it and I am so glad you got it Honey and so happy that you happened to see it right at Christmas dear so I could get it for you for Christmas. I am going to send Mother a money order for it now the end of this month dear. Honey dear you said you also wanted a dream table to go with it to and I want you to get it now darling. What is that Honey. I guess I have been out of civilization so long that I don’t know what anything is anymore. Honey dear you are such a perfect little wife and I love you so awful, awful darn much. Now darling any time you see something you want you know your husband wants you to have it. I want you to be the happiest little wife in this world darling and my real happiness is in making you happy dear.
Dearest you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dearest. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way Honey. Honey dear we are so happily married and love each other more every day. Gosh Honey you are such a wonderful little wife and I am so proud of you dear. Gee but you are pretty Honey and I will be so happy when I can tell you in my own words how beautiful you are and how much I really love you dear. Honey I know that God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. Honey dear please take wonderful care of my precious parts, they are so sweet dear and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine darling, miss you so awful darn much. Gee darling won’t it be together just time after time, just like the bee dear and both of us just like you was when you was talking over the phone only minus the part you had on, right dear. And Honey the nites we will spend in the same way I’ll betcha. Honey you are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dear.
Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dearest. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dear.
