My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Gosh Honey I got three of the sweetest letters from you today and I was so darn thrilled to get them Honey. They were so darn sweet and precious dear, just like all your wonderful letters are. I also got one from the folks dear and one from Mac and Peg and one from Curtis. Your letters were December the twenty eighth, January the fifth and seventh so that was darn good dear. First mail we have had in for a few days. Gee darling your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy and make me feel so wonderful all over dear. Gosh Honey it gives me such a grand feeling when I can get your precious letters. You had been getting my mail pretty good to dear and I sure hope it is coming in all right now darling. Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much.
I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dear. Well darling it is a real nice dear here and I sure hope it stays nice now. It sure is dusty out on the roads but it sure is a lot better around camp when it isn’t so wet. Sure hope it isn’t to cold and bad at home now dear. Well Honey I went to work at six this morning and worked till noon and I go back to work at midnite tonite. Boy but I do hate that shift cause it is so darn hard to work with out much lights and it seems twice as long as a regular shift. I got in from work about twelve thirty and ate and then got a hair cut and took a shower and cleaned up so I am writing my little darling now. Gee but it would be wonderful if I was there with you dearest and had just got in from work and could be in your sweet arms until time to go back to work again. Gosh Honey it will be so darn wonderful when this thing is all over and we can really start our life together. Every minute of our time except when we are working, will be together dear, doing what ever we want to and when ever we want to. Gee but we will be happy dearest.
Well Honey Curtis is back out in Flordia now. He sure does get around over the states and has sure been lucky to stay there. He thinks maybe he will come over now before long. He said to tell you hello dear and said he sure hoped we could be able to spend next Christmas together. He sure is a swell kid Honey and sure does write nice letters. I think this is three I have got from him and haven’t answered any of them. I just don’t get around to write him it seems.
Darling you
was telling me about having everything in your
suitcase all ready to come to me. Gee darling isn’t it wonderful to think about
and will be so darn swell when the day really comes around. You said you had
everything in it but your dresses dear and you went through everything and made
a list of what you had. What all did you have dear,
bet I can guess some things dear. Honey dear you wanted to know what I wanted
you to wear if I met you in your room. Boy Honey I’ll say your idea was right.
A robe set would be so perfect dear and your black one will be so wonderful.
Gosh Honey isn’t it wonderful to think about and to know that every day is one
day closer to that time. Gee but it will be wonderful when that time rolls
around dearest. Dearest just the two pieces to the set, right darling. Nothing
else either honey, no sir Honey. Darling you write me back and tell me just how
everything will be. And honey if I don’t get in
Honey dear you was saying that you had been talking about what the little ones names was going to be. Dear you will have to get some names you like you know dearest deveral and then we will both pick the ones we want. Gosh Honey it would be so darn wonderful if our dream of twins would come true. Won’t it be heavenly when we get all straightened out and can really start our little family dearest. So now darling you will have to be thinking about a lot of names and then we can pick from the choice few. I know you will be able to find a lot of swell names dear and I could never think of any.
Dearest you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dearest. Gee darling you are so darn sweet and precious. We are so happily married dearest and love each other more every day. Gosh Honey you are so darn pretty and so perfect in every way and all mine. Honey dear it will be so heavenly when we can have our lips pressed together and our arms so tight around each other. Gosh Honey won’t it all be wonderful. Dearest I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. Honey dear please take wonderful care of my precious parts, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much dearest. Yours are fine dear miss you so awful darn much but we will start making up for all this lost time before long dearest. Honey dear you are so darn sweet and the most adorable little wife in this world and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dearest.
Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now darling. Honey dear please be awful, awful careful now and take wonderful care of my precious little dolly. Remember now dearest chin up and always happy. Tell all hello now dearest.
