My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dolly. Gee darling I got the sweetest letter from you today and I was so darn happy to receive it dear. I also got one from the folks and a nice Christmas card from Mrs. Marshall and one from Martha and Steve. Your letter was November the seventeenth dear, one you wrote before you ever heard from me here. Gosh Honey your wonderful letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful darn happy dearest and make me feel so wonderful all over Honey. Gee darling it gives me the grandest feeling all over when I can get your precious letters. Honey dear I sure hope you are getting my letters all right now. You are so darn sweet dearest and I love you so awful darn much dearest.
I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dearest. Well Honey it is a pretty nice day here and I sure hope it stays nice now. It rained quite a bit last nite but has been clear all day. I sure do hope it is nice at home now darling. Well Honey I worked from midnite till six this morning and go back to work at six tonite. Boy it just seems like a guy doesn’t get any time off. Gee darling, it will be so darn wonderful when I am back in your sweet arms and always work the regular eight hour day. Honey when ever I have to work overtime you can come and get the car and then come after me when I get off or if you have the car with you then you can come after me when I get off. Gee darling won’t everything be wonderful and we will be so darn happy dearest.
Boy Honey, Mother and Helen sure do like your new house. Mother said it sure was nice and you had it fixed up so cute dear. The folks sure did like their Christmas presents to Honey. You are so darn swell to the folks dear and always get them such nice things and always do something for them. Gee but you are sweet dear and I love you so awful, awful much, my own little baby doll aren’t you dear.
Darling you was telling me they wanted you to join the bowling team. Honey if you would like to I think it would be swell. It would be something to help pass the time off for you dear and you will get lots of enjoyment and exercise out of it to. You have your own shoes and all now so you don’t have to worry about anything like that. I am sure glad you got your shoes dear cause it is sure the best to have your own. You know they are a good fit and when you rent those shoes you don’t know who might of wore them before you. You might not notice it so much the next day Honey. You can try it dear and then if you get home to late and are awful tired the next day you can quit Honey. It is all up to you dearest and I want you to do whatever you want to now. I know you will really enjoy yourself dear and it will be a nite out of every week that will go by fast for you. I am sure glad you have been going with the girls dear cause I know you all have a good time together. Won’t it be swell when I am back and we can go together dear. Gee we will have so darn much fun dear and go whenever we want to and come when we want to.
Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dearest. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way darling. Gosh Honey we are so happily married and love each other more every day. Honey dear I know God hears our prayers and will answer them and keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible now. Honey it will be so heavenly to be able to hold each other so tight and kiss each other so often. We will always dress so comfortable while we are home in the evening and days we aren’t working dear. Gosh Honey won’t it be wonderful in the summer months. We will always stay cool I’ll bet dear. It be minus the towel a lot of times dear, I’ll betcha it will dear. Honey please take wonderful care of my precious parts, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much. You are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world dear and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dolly.
Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dearest. Please be awful, awful careful now dearest and take wonderful care of my darling. Remember now dear chin up and always happy. Tell all hello dear.
