My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Well dolly no sweet letters so far today but I am sure hoping that some comes in before the day is over. Gee darling, your precious letters are so darn sweet and mean so awful much to me darling. They make me so darn happy and make me feel so wonderful all over dearest. Gosh Honey when we open our letters now it has the same meaning as when we used to open the door into each others arms. It will be so heavenly when we are back in each others arms and won’t have to write letters any more dear. Darling I sure hope you are getting my letters all right now. You are so darn sweet dearest and I love you so awful, awful much.
I am feeling fine now darling and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dearest. Well Honey it is a pretty nice day here, although it is a little warm. The sun is out bright and it is getting pretty dry again. Sure hope it stays nice now. We have things fixed up so that it isn’t so bad when it rains now. Honey I sure hope the weather isn’t to bad at home and sure hope it isn’t to cold. Gee how I would like to be there with you darling and keeping you real warm all the time. Gee but we would be cozy dear and so darn happy.
Honey I sure hated to hear about your Uncle passing away. I guess that you moving is the reason you never found it out. I saw it there in the bulletin to. Did I ever meet him or his wife dear or was they already moved out there before we started going together.
Darling you said you sent me another package and it had my sunglasses in it. Sure hope it gets here all right dearest. I’ll bet every one did look at you when you would ask for sun glasses dear with it snowing and so darn cold. I got me a pair out of the post exchange after I wrote you dear but over here a guy really needs an extra pair cause you know how easy they get broke dear and just about the time you need them real bad then you don’t have any. I broke my others just before we made this last trip and boy a person sure needs them out on that water. Gosh Honey you are so darn wonderful to me and always get me everything in your power. You are so darn sweet darling and I love you so awful darn much.

you was saying that your telephone number was the same
as always. Gee but I have called that number a lot of times darling. Remember
when I used to call you some mornings before I went to work dear when I was
riding the bus and then I used to call you a lot in the evenings from the bus
depot to when you were working at Katz. I sure remember the last time I called
that number to, remember when I called you from
Honey you was saying in one of your letters that you had a letter from Norma and one from Auntie. Sure hope that Norma does get up after the first of the year dear. I know you and her would really have a nice visit and a good time dear. You said Auntie was having trouble with her gums Honey. Sure hope she gets along all right now dear. Those gums really do give a person a lot of trouble some times. I guess Mae and Peg are really having a lot of trouble with their teeth.
Darling I
was sure glad you got your order for your flowers for Christmas and got it so
early. I sent a corsage Honey, just like I sent you Easter. Sure hope you got a
nice one. I was sure afraid you wouldn’t get your order dear cause I fixed it
up just before I left the Admiralties and I didn’t know whether the guy that
takes care of those got the orders out or not. Gosh Honey it will be so
wonderful when I can buy you a corsage or flowers whenever I want to and be
able to hand them to you in person. Remember the first one I ever bought you
dear, we got it down there on
Honey dear I sure hope you are over that cold and that awful cough by now. Gosh Honey you sure had a hard time with that old cold and then all this work on top of it all. Gee but I hope you are feeling wonderful now dear and have most all of your work down. Honey dear please be awful careful now and please don’t work to hard now.
You are so darn sweet dearest and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will darling. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way dearest. Gosh Honey we are so happily married and love each other more every day. Dearest isn’t is wonderful to think about our first embrace and all the wonderful ones that we will have after that. Gosh Honey I am going to hold you so awful tight and kiss you so often. Honey I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible. Please take wonderful care of my precious parts Honey, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine dear, miss you so darn much. You are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world dear and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dearest.
