My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Gosh Honey I received the sweetest letter from you yesterday evening after I had already finished your letter and today I received two sweet letters and I was so darn thrilled dear. They were so darn sweet and precious dear just like all your wonderful letters are. I also got three letters from the folks and a Christmas card from Aunt Minnies girl. Gee darling your wonderful letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy and make me feel so wonderful all over dear. Gosh Honey isn’t it wonderful how different a person feels when you can hear from the one you love. Your letters were the second, seventh, and eighth of December dear so that was pretty good. You had been getting my mail to dear and I was so happy to hear that dear cause I know you feel so swell when you can hear from me, just like I do when I hear from you. I sure hope you are getting my letters all right now dear. You are so darn sweet Honey and I love you so awful, awful much.
I am feeling fine now dear and getting along all right in every way. I have plenty of everything now dolly. Well dear it is still raining here and still nice and cool. Boy I’m telling you that shower water is sure cold, seemed worse today than it did yesterday. I sure wish it would stop this raining now. It just gets nice to get around outside and then it starts raining again. Sure hope you aren’t having to much snow and cold weather dear. Gee but I would give anything to be there in your sweet arms and that swell climate dear. I would have you so close to me dear that I’ll bet you wouldn’t even know it was cold, how about that dear. Won’t it be heavenly sleeping together every nite dear and keeping each other warm all the time. Well dear I am still having trouble with my mouth, it seems worse than ever today. It sure does hurt when I eat and boy when I brush my teeth and hit those places it really does hurt. I put some medicine on them today so maybe they will start getting better now before long. I’ll bet my dolly would have them fixed up if I was home. Just a lot of sweet kisses would make is feel a lot better I’ll bet dear, don’t you think so hon.
Darling I was so darn happy to get your sweet letters today and find out that my baby doll was feeling better, gosh honey I was so darn worried and I was sure hoping and praying for some letters o bring me good news. Honey I sure hope you didn’t go back to work to quick now. You should of stayed home the rest of the week dear. Honey dear it makes me feel so darn swell to know that you are feeling so much better. Honey you was worrying about your Christmas shopping and getting moved and all the other things you had to do. Please don’t worry about things like that when you are sick dear cause they can always wait and the more you worry the worse you will feel. Honey when you are sick like that I don’t want you worrying about writing me either cause I want you to relax and get well and then you can write me and make up for the days you didn’t write, just like you did Honey. Please don’t worry about anything when you get to feeling bad dear cause that makes things worse for you. I’ll bet you was kind of glad to get back to work dear and I know all the girls were sure glad to see you. You said that your boss was serving on the jury Honey and when he called Margie told him that you and Niana was there and he said he didn’t care about Niana, he was sure glad to hear that Naomi was there. You darn right Honey they all know when they have a good dependable person working for them and I know that they can’t find anyone better for the job or near as good as my sweet little wife. Gee darling I am sure glad you have such a swell place to work. I sure hope you didn’t go back to work to quick now darling. Honey when ever you don’t feel well I want you to take off until you are feeling perfect again. Honey you said you thought maybe you had a strep throat, gosh darling that is sure bad. Please take good care of that now dear and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife in every way. Honey I’ll Norma was worried when she found out that you was off sick. I sure hope you got in touch with her so she would know you was feeling better dear. Honey dear if I was just there to take care of you I would be so darn happy. It will be so wonderful when we are back in each others arms and won’t have to have someone else look after us dear and we can take care of each other all the time.
Honey dear you said you went downtown shopping and everything was so darn crowded you could hardly get around. I sure wish I was there to help you to dear cause I know what a job that is and you have so darn many presents to get to. I sure hope you got it finished up and didn’t have to much trouble dear. It is all over now dear and you won’t have that to worry about for another year and I am sure hoping and praying that I will be back there helping you next year dear. We will have so darn much fun doing all our shopping together and we will be so happy dolly.
Honey dear you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much and you know I always will dear. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way dolly. Honey dear it will be so darn wonderful when I can hold you so awful tight and kiss you one time right after another. I’ll bet we just keep hold of each other dearest. Honey I know God hears our prayers and will keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible dear. Please take wonderful care of my precious parts honey, gee but they are wonderful and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine dear, miss you so awful darn much. You are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world dear and I love you so awful darn much and you know I always will angel.
Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dear. I’ll be looking for your sweet letters now darling.
