My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Well sug no sweet letters today but I am sure hoping that tomorrow will bring some. Gosh Honey I hope so much that our mail will start coming good now. Your precious letters mean the world and all to me dearest and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful happy and make me feel so wonderful all over dearest. Gosh Honey it gives me such a good feeling when I can get your wonderful letters. I sure hope you are getting my letters all right now dearest cause I know how you feel when you don’t hear from me dear. I expect it is all tied up though just like this is over here. Honey it will be so darn wonderful when we are back in each others arms and won’t have to write letters any more. Darling you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful darn much.
I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way. I have plenty of everything now dearest. Well Honey it is a pretty nice day here again today. It rained some this morning but it has dried up pretty good now. Sure hope it stays nice now. Sure hope you are having some nice weather and hope it isn’t to cold now dearest. Gee darling it would be so darn wonderful if I could be there in your sweet arms now. We would be enjoying ourselves so darn much dear and be so happy. Gee but it will be heavenly when we can really start our life together dearest.
Well Honey Christmas is over now and we can all start waiting for the next one. I sure hope you had a wonderful Christmas dear and sure wish I could of gotten you something really nice dear but I am sure hoping that this will all work out so I can be in your sweet arms next year Honey and really be able to give you something nice to make up for all these last years. Having each other will make it the happiest Christmas we ever had dear. Christmas hasn’t really meant much to us these last three years dear cause we haven’t had each other. But Honey it will be the most wonderful one we ever had when we get back together now cause we will be doing everything together and won’t have to leave each other for one minute, we will really be able to get the holiday spirit honey. I sure do hope we get the rest of our packages now right away. I expect a lot of them will never get here but I sure hope it don’t turn out that way. Darling I sure hope it was a nice day yesterday so you could take some pictures for me. Sure hope you take some for me in your Christmas outfit any way darling whether you got to do it yesterday or not. Gee darling your precious pictures mean so awful darn much to me and make me so darn happy when I can get them dear. I look at your sweet pictures all the time dear and gosh it seems to me I can almost talk to you dear. I have my pictures in my little prayer book dear and every evening I look them all over after I have read in my little book. Then when I am around camp in the day time I have them out every once in a while looking at them. Gee but they are wonderful and mean so darn much to me darling and I sure hope I have some more precious ones on the way.
Honey dear I sure hope this finds you feeling swell and everything going along all right in every way at home. Gee darling I sure hope you got over that cold and sore throat. I will be so darn glad when I can hear from you and you are feeling swell dear. Please be awful awful careful now darling and please take wonderful care of my sweet little wife. Honey dear please keep warm now and when ever you start to feeling bad be sure and take medicine darling. It will be so darn swell when we can look after each other dear and take care of each other all the time.
Well Honey you was saying that you kids had a hankie shower on Thelma for her birthday. I’ll bet she was really surprised dear. I’ll bet you work with such a nice bunch of girls. It makes the time pass so much faster when you work with a swell group of girls and then you all enjoy yourselves so much when you have your little parties and go out together.
Honey I sure hope you have your house all straightened up now. You said you had waxed the floors in the bedroom and living room dear. Has it got oak floors darling, sure hope it has. You said you was going to paint the kitchen cabinets and woodwork ivory Honey. I’ll bet that will really be pretty dear. Gosh Honey you sure had a lot of hard work. I sure hope you take some time off now Honey while you are moving. That is really a job that moving. Won’t it be heavenly when we are fixing our little home up, getting ready to move in darling. We will have everything all fixed up in every way when we move our furniture in dear, then when we spend the first nite in our new home we will have everything all straightened up and fixed up in every way. Won’t it be heavenly when we get everything all fixed up dear. Our work then will just be on our yard every year and keeping our little home up and we will have so much fun doing it dear.
Darling you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful much and you know I always will dearest. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way dolly. Honey dear we are so happily married and love each other more every day. Darling it will be so darn swell when I can hold you in my arms and kiss you so often. Remember how we used to do in the driveway honey, now we won’t have to leave each other like we did then and we can’t be that way all nite. Darling please take wonderful care of my sweet little wife and my precious parts. I love them so darn much and they are so sweet and wonderful dolly. Yours are fine angel, miss you so darn much. You are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world dear and I love you so awful darn much and always will dolly.
