My Dearest Darling Wife,

Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dear. Gosh Honey I just received two of the sweetest letters from you and I was so darn thrilled to get them darling. They was November the twenty ninth and December the fifth, the first ones I have received with this address darling. Two months tomorrow since we first hit here dear and the first letters to get back, boy that is sure poor mail service. I am sure hoping it will get better. Gee darling your precious letters were so darn sweet, just like all your wonderful letters are dear. I also received four letters from the folks and one from Mae and Peg Honey. Gee darling your precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They make me so awful, awful happy dear and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gee darling I feel so darn wonderful now, just makes a different person out of me in every way Honey. Gosh I have had the blues so darn bad Honey and felt so awful but I feel so swell now dear. Honey you wasn’t getting my mail a bit good. You had received three first letters and hadn’t received any for almost two weeks. I guess it is just all tied up like mine is dear and I sure hope you are getting my letters all right now Honey cause I know how awful you feel when you don’t hear from me dear. You are so darn sweet dear and I love you so awful darn much.

I am feeling fine now dear and getting along all right in every way. I have plenty of everything now. Well Honey it is raining here today so I guess we will be in the mud again now. It hasn’t rained quite so much if it would if it would just stop now it wouldn’t be so bad. It will probably rain now for a week though. You was having some bad weather in your letters today dear. It had snowed and in one letter it was raining and cold too. Sure hope it isn’t so bad now dear and not too cold. Sure hope you have nice weather for Christmas now. Well dolly I went to work at six this morning and worked till noon. Boy I sure was tired when I got in too. A guy sure does tire out easy over here and just seems like you can’t get enough rest. I guess the climate and then the hours you work and have to try and sleep part of the time days and part of the time nights. When I don’t work nights I go to bed always by nine thirty and most of the time before then, but I wake up in the mornings just as tired as I was when I went to bed. Gosh Honey it will be so darn wonderful when I am back in your sweet arms and back to a swell climate. I’ll bet we don’t sleep many hours a night dear but it will be like ten or twelve hours sleep is to us now cause we will be in each others arms and so darn happy and we will be so relaxed and not nervous and we will really rest dear.

Well Honey I got your new address on my letters today and I have sure been waiting for that cause I wanted to send your letters to your new address. I sure hope you get all these other ones with the old address on them dear and I think you will cause I supposed you made arrangements with the post office or the people that moved into the other place. You have quite an address now dear. Honey if you think I should continue to address your letters in case of your dad or do you think I could drop that. Just thought maybe it wouldn’t be necessary now since you had moved dear. You be sure and let me know darling but if you have the least idea you might not get your letters without that dear you be sure and say so cause I want you to get all my letters darling. Sure hope you like your new home now dear and sure hope you are all straightened up by now. I sure wish I could of been there to help you darling cause that was sure a job I know.

Honey you had been awful sick to and gosh how I hated to hear that dear. The letter I got December the fifth you was feeling pretty good though and you was going to go to work that morning but decided you had better stay home that day. If I had been home dear you would of stayed home the rest of the week and maybe longer than that. Gosh Honey I am sure glad you went to Ruth’s and stayed in bed. That’s the way I want you to do when you just start to feeling bad dear, go to bed and have Ruth or Mother take care of you. Gosh Honey you was feeling so bad and hadn’t heard from me for over a week and you had the blues so bad dear. I sure hope you heard from me the next day or so and got to really feeling swell dear. You said your throat was so sore dear you could hardly swallow. That sure does make a person feel awful too. You never said what was wrong with you dear but I imagine from the way you wrote you must have had an awful cold and that awful sore throat dear. That is enough to put a person in bad cause I really know what they are, those throats sure get bad sometimes. Honey I know you take good care of my sweet little wife but please be awful, awful careful and take awful good care of yourself dear. Be sure and keep warm dear and don’t get wet and don’t get those sweet little feet wet dear.

Honey, you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful awful darn much and you know I always will dear. You are so darn sweet and so precious in every way dear. Gosh Honey we love each other more every day and are so happily married. Darling I will squeeze you so darn tight and kiss you one time right after another. Please take good care of my precious parts Honey, gee but they are so wonderful and I love them so darn much. Yours are fine dear, miss you so darn much. You are the sweetest and most adorable little wife in this world dear and I love you so darn much and you know I always will dolly.

Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now I’ll be looking for your sweet letters now dear. Please be awful, awful careful now dear and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife. Remember now dear, chin up and always happy. Tell all hello dear.

Love and more love to my sweet little angel.

Loads and loads of love to my dearest darling wife I love so darn much.
