Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my
darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better
be dearest. Well dolly no sweet letters so far today but I am sure hoping that
some will come in before the day is over. Gosh Honey I believe this is the
worst place we have ever been for getting our mail. Here I have been here
almost two months and have never received a letter from you with this address
on it dear. Gosh but I hope we get some mail right away now dear. Darling your
precious letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn sweet. They
make me so awful, awful happy and make me feel so wonderful all over dearest.
Gosh Honey I feel so awful when I can’t get your sweet letters. It just makes a
new person out of me when I can hear from you dear. I sure hope you are getting
my letters all right now darling. You are so darn sweet dearest and I love you
so awful, awful darn much.
I am feeling fine now dearest and getting
along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dearest. Well
darling it is a pretty nice day here today and things are sure drying up. It
would sure be swell if it would just stay nice for a
few weeks. It would be awful dusty but it would give us a chance to get things
in shape a little. It will probably be raining this time tomorrow. Sure hope
you are having some nice weather there at home now dearest. Honey I sure hope
you have a good heating system at the new place. Well I worked from midnite to six this morning and go back to work at six tonite. I sure don’t get much sleep but I will be able to
get some from midnite on tonite.
Honey you was saying that you had
six large doilies finished, only two to go. Boy you are sure doing swell
dearest. I will be so darn happy when I can see all your wonderful things dear.
Gosh Honey you have made us so many swell things. You said you told Thelma what
I said about the crocheting and she wanted to know if I was going to keep you
to myself always. Boy Honey you sure told her right. I’ll say it is absolutely
and positively yes. We are really going to keep each other to ourselves all the
time dear. Gosh Honey it will be so darn wonderful doing everything together
and helping each other with everything. All our work around home will be so
much fun dear cause we will be doing it all together. We will sure have a right
to spend most of our time to ourselves after all this dear cause we sure have a
lot of lost time to make up. Won’t it all be heavenly dearest and gee we will
be so darn happy.
Honey I sure have your Christmas
outfit by now. You said in one of your letters that you didn’t get the shoes
like you saw dear cause you didn’t think you ought to put out that much. Honey
dear please get yourself anything you want. You know I want you to get anything
you want dearest. Gosh Honey your clothes is the biggest pleasure you have and
I know it really makes you happy when you get things you like darling. Honey I
want you to be the happiest little wife in this world. I love you so awful darn
much dear, gosh Honey I want you to be so happy all the time. You have such a
wonderful judgment about everything like that dear but Honey when you really
want something but think it is a little high don’t worry about that. Darling I
know everything is really high now and like you said Honey you just get the
things you need and your check sure don’t last long. I know how it was when I
was back there dear. It cost just about as much for one of us to live as it
will both of us dear. Darling you are sure a thrifty little wife and dear I am
so darn proud of you. You have saved us so much dear and worked so awful, awful
hard. Honey you are such a perfect little wife and gee I love you so much. Now
darling please get yourself anything you want and whenever you want it. Dear I
sure hope you take me some pictures in your Christmas outfit. You had better
dearest. Honey is those two pictures the only ones that came out on that last roll, you know the ones with your shorts on dear. Gee but
they are wonderful pictures of your dear, just like all your precious pictures
are.
Well Honey one of the guys just came
in with money. I have got everything around camp here, two monkeys now and pair
of fighting roosters, boy what a collection. I guess there is a lot of
different animals and birds here. A bunch of soldiers will sure have something
like that when they can get a hold of them.
Honey dear you are so darn sweet and
I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will dear. You are
so darn sweet and so precious in every way dolly. Gosh Honey we are so happily
married and love each other more every day. Gee dear our first embrace will be
so wonderful, it will just be one big hug and kiss
dear and for so long. Honey I know God hears our prayers and will answer them
and keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible. Please take
wonderful care of my precious parts Honey, gee but they are wonderful and I
love them so darn much. Yours are fine dear, miss you so awful much. You are
the sweetest and most adorable little wife in the world dear and I love you so
darn much and you know I always will dear.
Well sugar I guess I had better
close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dearest. I’ll be
looking for your sweet letters now dear. Please be awful, awful careful now
darling and take wonderful care of my sweet little wife. Remember now dear,
chin up and always happy. Tell all hello dear.
