My Dearest Darling Wife,
Hello sweet little angel, how is my darling little wife. Awful, awful sweet I know and fine I hope. You had better be dearest. Well dolly no sweet letters so far today but I am sure hoping that some comes in before the day is over. Those four the last two days were so darn wonderful dearest, just like all your wonderful letters are. Gosh Honey your sweet letters mean the world and all to me and they are so darn precious. They make me so awful, awful happy and make me feel so wonderful all over. Gosh Honey it gives me the grandest feeling when I can get your sweet letters, just makes a different person out of me Honey. I sure hope you are getting my letters all right now dearest. Please don’t worry when you don’t hear from me for quite a while some times dearest. You know I will always write you as often and as much as possible now dearest. You are so darn sweet Honey and I love you so awful, awful darn much.
I am feeling fine now dearest and getting along all right in every way now. I have plenty of everything now dearest. Well honey it sure has been hot here today. This last month has been the hottest we have ever put in I believe. Sure hope the weather is still nice at home dear. About another month now and you will be having some hosts I expect Honey. Gee but I wish I was back in your sweet arms and back in that swell climate dear. Well Honey not very much going on right now, just getting all our things up in shape.
Honey dear you was saying that you was off Labor Day and that you and Auntie and Bobbie went to the show. Gee darling I was so darn glad to hear that you was off cause you sure needed the rest. I’ll bet you really felt swell to get to stay home there days in a row like that dear. We could of sure had a swell time if I had been home dear. We will sure take advantage of all those holidays like that dear. We could take a pretty good trip in three days like that darling. Gosh Honey we never will be able to really enjoy a show or anything like that until we are back in each others arms. Whenever I go to a show I always think about all the wonderful ones we have taken in dear. I sure do remember how we used to leave real early for the show so we could get our special seats Honey. I’ll say we missed some of the show sometimes dear, I’ll bet we never saw half of them sometimes. Gee darling we always had so darn much fun and enjoyed ourselves so darn much, no matter where we went. It will be more so that way than ever now dear cause we can be together every minute.
Well Honey this is latter in the evening and I got the sweetest letter from you at mail call this evening. It was so darn wonderful and I was so thrilled to get it dearest. I also got one from the folks Honey. They were both the eighth of September dearest. Gosh Honey it makes me feel so darn wonderful when I can get your heavenly letters. Honey you said you had got a letter from me the day you wrote that letter and I was sure glad to hear that dear.
Darling,
you said that the work was still pretty heavy but that both girls you was getting it out pretty good. I am sure glad that you
aren’t rushed like you was dear. Gosh Honey I know you was
really wore out after all that rush. You said they was hiring a lot of new
girls now cause a lot of them were going back to
school. I expect there will be a lot of girls out of work now when
Honey you said you had our bathroom set half done now. Gee darling you sure have finished that cover in a hurry. You work so fast Honey and gee all your work is so perfect and so beautiful. I’ll bet the kids can’t hardly believe that you have fifteen pair of pillow cases dear. Honey I will be so darn happy when I am back and can see all our wonderful thinks. Boy Honey all those swell things will sure be a big saving for us when we start housekeeping. Gee darling you are such a wonderful little wife and I am so darn proud of you dearest.
Dearest you are so darn sweet and I love you so awful, awful darn much and you know I always will Honey. You are so darn sweet and so precious honey and I love you with all my heart darling. Gosh Honey we are so happily married and love each other more every day. Honey dear I know God hears our prayers and will answer them and keep us safe and bring us together as soon as possible. Please take good care of my precious parts Honey, gee but they are precious. Yours are fine dear miss you so darn much. Gosh Honey it has been so darn long but we are sure going to start making up for lost time as soon as we get back in each others arms. You are the most adorable little wife in this world dear and I love you so awful, awful darn much and always will dear.
Well sug I guess I had better close for this time and I’ll write you as soon as possible now dearest. I’ll be looking for your precious letters now dolly.
