Dearest Darling Wife

Gosh Honey I received two letters today, boy I sure was glad too. I knew something had held the mail up or something. Gosh I felt so good when I saw those letters darling. I got a letter from Mother today too. She told me all about being with you and everything just like you did.

Gosh Honey I can’t hardly wait until you get here. I sure am anxious to see my baby doll. I sure have been busy and haven’t had much time to get things fixed but we can do it after you get here darling. Gosh I didn’t get off until about 8:30 tonite. I have you a room reserved though, like I told you. I haven’t got to see about renting one by the week yet but will try and get things straightened out by the time you get here darling. I am still going to try and phone you Thursday nite. If I don’t get to talk to you, I will meet you in front of the Baker Hotel. If you get there before 7:30, you go on in and get your room, under the name of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Carr. I don’t know whether we will get to get married Saturday nite or not, but we sure are before you go back Honey and I can’t hardly wait until you are my real wife. Gosh Honey I love you so darn much and you know I always will darling. Gosh Honey it seems like Saturday nite never will come. I hope you get here early, gosh Honey I sure do love you and you know I always will. Darling I am sure going to make up for lost time when I see you. I never missed any one so much in all my life. Darling you are the sweetest little wife and the sweetest darling of a girl.

Well darling we are going on the rifle range Thursday, shooting the rifle. I’ll sure be glad when we get it over with. We only have four days of it, so it will be over Monday. I missed a long hike by being on K.P. today. I sure hope it’s a long time before I’m on that again, because it sure is a job. Not much new to write darling and I only just want my baby and I want her as soon as I can get her. That’s going to be Saturday nite too, isn’t it darling.

Well it’s about time for the lights to go out darling, so I’ll close now and be looking for your letters and be seeing you Saturday nite. I will try and call you Thursday nite Honey, if nothing happens, but if I don’t get to call you now, I’ll meet you in front of the Baker Hotel. I’ll be seeing you sweetest.

I love you so darn much Honey and you know I always will.

Loads and loads of love to the sweetest girl in all the world.

Love and more love is all I can say darling.

Hurry up Honey I’m sure waiting.

            Here’s a kiss to my darling wife X X X X
