Dear Gram,

I received your V mail letter this evening and also two others one from Jeff and one from Marjorie Lindley. Gram, I wrote Fred Lindsy a letter quite some time ago but I misspelled his name and put Lindley. Do you know if he received it? Mrs. Tucker came to see me a few days ago and we had a very nice visit. She said she would try to bring Jim Thompson with her next time she came. She brought me some oranges that were grown in Spain, some home made candy and a few liney cigarettes which was very nice of her. How is everything at home? Is dad home from Seattle yet? Give my love to all the family.
