Dear Oliver

How are you? I am swell. If you send me your pictures I will send mine. We are listening to the radio.

How is A Letter a Day to Loved Ones Away not bad (ha) (ha)? I hope you don’t take advantage of having the guardhouse right across from you barracks.  Do you have any pictures to send to me?  I hope so.  If you can hurry please do so.

            Please don’t mind the writing.

Hope you stay out of the house with bars on the windows. Have you been on K.P. yet since you’ve been here? I lost my home work and am going to get it and I mean get it.  Please write to me as soon as you can.  Robert is playing with a water gun.

                                                            Yours Truly

                                                            Thomas P
