“Hello Sugar”!

Here I am, in the country that your grandfathers were born in, and I think it’s beautiful! Really Ellie, its prittier that good old Kentucky in spots. Really sounds fancy to hear the people talk, especially the kids. The accent sounds swell!! Perhaps I can have one soon!

You haven’t written in ages! –I suppose your time is well occupied though with more important matters! Anyway write when you can.

I would like to go into London soon – I want to see all the things I’ve heard about, and read about. So far I haven’t had the opportunity to squire an English girl around, but let you know the results of my escapades!

There is nothing more that I can tell you. I arrive without accident, and so far I’m in good health! Be good – write one all the dirt! – and soon I’ll do the same
