Hi Cattie!

Haven’t been writing much recently because we haven’t had any mail for almost two weeks; and there isn’t much I can tell you in the way of news.

We moved about two weeks ago, and there isn’t anything for amusement around here.  No movies, no ping pong—nothing!  I usually write a letter or two after supper, read the Stars & Stripes, and then go to bed.  I can’t even get a bridge game started anymore.

It warmed up a little today, and the snow started melting.  It’s getting “sloppy” now like Indiana.  However, we had a blizzard last night.  It was raining, snowing, cold, and a strong wind, all at the same time.

I’m enclosing a picture of our officers, which was taken Christmas day.  I think you can find me.  Haha.

We’re having marvelous “chow” Cattie, and the news is really good right now.  So, all in all, things look pretty good at the present.  I’d sure like to be coming home in about six months.  You can never tell!  Boy, how I miss everyone!

I’m going to the dental clinic at 9 o’clock tomorrow a.m., and I’m really “sweating it out.”  I hope this will be the last time until I’m back in N.A.

I’m still keeping up with the songs, but you should be way ahead of me in the movies.  These radios sure help, and my favorite program is Command Performance.

Well Cattie, I know this is a dull letter, but I hope to do better the next time.  If only some mail would arrive.  Tell Joe and Aunt Irene “hello” Cattie, and keep writing.

                                                                                    Love- Urbey
